Temporary emergency power at H. Essers: fast response for a secure data centre

At the H. Essers site in Genk, the data centre’s emergency generator failed unexpectedly — and in a data centre, every second counts. Without backup power, operations and data integrity are immediately at risk. Boldt responded quickly and installed a temporary standby generator configured to start automatically in the event of a power outage. The existing UPS system absorbed the initial load, while the temporary generator remained on standby to ensure maximum continuity. As a result, all systems stayed fully operational — with no data loss, no downtime and no compromise to security. This temporary setup provided a safe bridge until the permanent installation was restored.
