Due to planned renovations of the existing store, Delhaize required a fully functional temporary supermarket. The solution had to be installed on the parking area next to the construction site — close to customers, yet within strict spatial and safety constraints. Boldt was tasked with delivering all technical systems for the temporary retail unit, while staying within the client’s defined budget. A challenging project, given the limited space available and the very short timeframe in which everything had to be operational. Despite these constraints, the temporary supermarket was equipped efficiently, safely and on schedule — ensuring Delhaize could continue serving its customers without interruption.
